Buying Art Online Without Turning It Into Homework
Buying art online should not require three browser tabs, a lecture series, and one friend who claims to know a gallery owner. It should be possible to look at a piece, understand what it is, decide whether you like it, and move on with your life in possession of a better wall.
The Art Explorer is built around that idea. John Baker prints are presented directly, with artwork pages, blog notes, contact information, and a checkout path that does not try to make the buyer feel small for asking normal questions.
When buying online, use a simple checklist. Do you like the image? Does the size make sense for the wall? Does the color help the room? Do you know how to contact the artist if you need something? If those answers are clear, the process is doing its job.
Art can be meaningful without becoming homework. Sometimes the right piece is simply the one that makes the wall stop looking abandoned.
